Jennifer C. Cottrell, CPA

Jennifer C. Cottrell, a principal in the Assurance Group at GHP Horwath, has more than 15 years of experience providing a range of audit, attestation, and consulting services to clients in diverse industries, including manufacturing, retail, not-for-profit, hospitality, oil and gas, government, and for franchise companies, employee benefit plans, and public companies. She is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Colorado and is currently one of Crowe Horwath International's professional instructors - having conducted training courses relating to employee benefit plans, statistical sampling, and not-for-profit accounting. She continues to build on her extensive expertise in employee benefit plans by regularly attending the American Institute of Public Accountants' Employee Benefit Conference.
Jennifer is also involved in the community. She serves on the Denver Alumni Association Executive Board of Kappa Kappa Gamma and acts as its Career Kappas Chairman, and is the Treasurer for her homeowners' association. She is a 2008 graduate of the Leadership Program for the Mountain States Employers Council and the 2005-2006 Leadership Arts Program of the Colorado Business Committee for the Arts (CBCA).
Jennifer began her career at GHP Horwath in 1994, and has moved up the ranks to become a principal. She holds a B.A. in Accounting and French, Magna cum Laude, from Hillsdale College.
