Roger T. Staubach
Roger T. Staubach is chairman of the board and chief
executive officer of The Staubach Company, the leading
global real estate advisory firm that delivers cost-effective
solutions for the users of office, industrial and retail
space.
A 1965 graduate of the United States Naval Academy,
Roger joined the Dallas Cowboys professional football
team and launched his real estate career while playing football. Today, The Staubach
Company has 1,370 people located in 64 offices throughout the Americas.
It completed 6,750 transaction totaling $26 billion/835 million square feet during
the fiscal year ending June 2006.
Roger is involved in numerous other civic, charitable, and professional organizations,
including the Children’s Cancer Fund and the United States Naval
Academy Foundation.
Werner E. Rotach
Werner E. Rotach is a Certified Public Accountant and
has more than 45 years of experience in the accounting
profession in the United States and Europe. He is the
Chief Executive Officer of Horwath International, an international
network of independent accounting and management
consulting firms with more than 400 offices in
close to 90 countries throughout the world. He is responsible
for managing the affairs of the international association, for assuring high
quality professional performance by all member firms, and coordinating major
international engagements. As an audit partner of a major national accounting
firm, he has been in charge of many multinational clients in different industries.
Mr. Rotach has been a speaker at many international and national
seminars, conferences and other events on a range of tourism, accounting and
auditing subjects. He is a member of both the American Institute of CPA’s and
the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, and has been active
in various committees of these organizations. Born in Switzerland, he is fluent in
English, German and French.
Brian J. Friedman, CFA
For the past 8 years Brian Friedman has served as President
of GHP Investment Advisors, Inc. (GHPIA). With
approximately $400 million in assets under management
GHPIA is Colorado’s premier wealth management firm,
providing an integrated package of investment management,
financial planning and tax related services in partnership
with The GHP Financial Group. Brian has over
15 years of experience in the field of investment management and economic research.
Prior to GHPIA he was a U.S. Equity Portfolio Manager at Owen Joseph
Asset Management in San Diego, CA and served as an International Equity Analyst
with the Founders Funds, a mutual fund company based in Denver. Brian
also formerly worked in the field of economic research at The Brookings Institution,
a public policy think tank in Washington, D.C.
Brian holds a BA in Economics from the George Washington University, and
an MBA from the University of Chicago. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst
(CFA), and a Lecturer in Economics at the University of Colorado.
